Clark Hindelang and Stephen Pickering have been longtime friends since 1969, when they met as 9th graders, at Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia.
In 2018, Clark Hindelang retired from teaching in the Atlantic City, NJ School District after close to 20 years. Clark taught Middle School Social Studies, Personal Finance Planning for graduating high school seniors, and volunteered one year to teach Kindergarten when there was an emergency opening. Clark was known as Mr. H and Coach H as he also coached Varsity Softball and Boys Varsity Basketball.
Clark obtained his B.S. in Political Science and teaching certification in 1999 from Stockton University. He also attended Temple University in Philadelphia and Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.
Clark and his wife, Andrea, have been married for 15 years and reside in Margate. Each has 3 grown children from a previous marriage. Andrea has been an elementary school teacher at the Leeds Avenue School in Pleasantville for close to 25 years.
Stephen Pickering also retired in 2018 after operating his own business for several decades as a headhunter and he owned a limousine company stationed in Naples, Florida. He recently relocated to Margate, New Jersey while his daughter attends the University of Florida.
Stephen graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY in 1977 with a B.S. in Political Science and was a NCAA nationally ranked squash player.
Clark and Stephen are avid Philly Sports fans and follow the Phillies, Eagles, 76ers, and the Flyers.
